Sakai Fish Farm has done it again ! Grand champion at the Rinyukai koishow in Tokyo ! After winning last weekend at the ZNA show in Kobe they win again with a big kohaku of Yohannes !
The show seemed smaller than other years but still it stays an amazing gathering of koikichi, dealers, breeders and hobbyists.
As I heard from more than one good source, SFF has a big chance to win 3 shows in a row ! M rose has changed from owner and looks much better than last time at ZNA show. So ... a ex GC going again to koishow ???

Nishikawa san of SFF says us : all Japanese are crazy ! They like to dress themselves in different cartoonfigures and come together to make us much possible photographs of each other ?

I really like this show so much ! She has such nice body and her sumi will come up for sure ! The pattern and bodyshape for me are the way a showa has to be for me.

Today we wanted to take all pics and video of azukari koi at SFF. But we couldn’t finish this job today so tomorrow we finish this job. All customerkoi are coming under koihunting again as each year. Every day there will be new ones, please have a look there.
We are surprised of our azukari pond at SFF ! All koi are going over the 70-75 cm and more ! Almost all our koi are swimming in the same pond at the farm and it looks like a jumbo koipond.

This 80cm kohaku is now gosai and the skinquality of this one is so shiny. This koi needs 1 or 2 years more in Japan and then can compete in show in Europe.

This Nozomi bloodline kohaku was always Danny’s favorit ! And also this year she looks stunning with her big body, she reaches almost the 80cm ! It is a good feeling when you look at these jumbo koi in such a small bowl. Have a look at her and she is still for sale !
This Blue mountain showa was bought as best showa on SFF auction some years ago. And she is growing slowly but her skinquality is so good ! Also the sumi is coming bit by bit. Every year there is some more coming on. She is Dainichi bloodline that SFF called Blue Mountain.
This kohaku was bought on auction as very good quality. And she keeps every her good bodyshape and skinquality. Now she just past 3 years old and became yonsai with 72cm.
She is swimming in SFF and still for sale. This is a koi to buy now and let it grow up to 80-85cm for competing in koishows.

This year the kohaku breeding was not so good so there are much more sanke and showa available.

Today we visited our azukari at Omosako koifarm. We want to show you our yonsai shiro utsuri for koishow in Japan and our ginrin tancho showa also for Japanese koishow.
Also shiro X is ready again for koishow here.
Because our later visit to this farm this year, we could achieve to buy some shiro utsuri nissai all guaranteed females. We have 8 very good pieces and 2 ginrin shiro with certificates coming to the shop next week. You find them under koi for sale on our website.

This maruten showa is at last getting her sumi and is now swimming in the pond where also Pandora ( Nogami kohaku GC rinyukai and Asian show ) was swimming. I was so surprised to see her but pity we could not take her out because of preparation of the Rinyukai koi.

We visited this farm to see 2 koi back one gosai and one sansai.
The sansai developped very good and became 66cm. The skin is snowwhite and the sumi is coming so fast.
the second koi is a showa gosai that I have chosen myself. She has a very good bodyshape.
And at last we looke for somethin New ! A nissai showa who has to developp het sumi in the future and Hiroshi says she i sone of the best. Have a look at those 3 koi !

Today we went to the koishow in Kobe Port but it was so rainy we could not make any good pictures of koi. All day long it rained without stopping one minute !
Sakai Fish Farm achieved again to play Grand Champion with a sandan kohaku of Mr Felix Denanta ! You can see here swimming in her vat between the raindrops. There were no other prizes yet known and judging was still going on.

Last weekend our koicafe and group of customers went to Appeltern to compete in the koishow. And again it became a big succes ! Harry van der Hout got grand champion, best kohaku and best in size 8 ! Congratulations with this beautifull koi ! Hopefully this koi can compete for some years in the European Koiscene. This koi is still young (only 6 years old) and has a young skin that still has to finish up. So let hope !

Today we have entered our koi and customerkoi in the koishow. Everything went very smooth and easy. All koi arrived save and well in the showvats.
After that we finished the last things on our stand. And ready was it!
Tomorrow many customers are coming to our stand and staying overnight in our hotel. It is always party when we go to a koishow !

We want to show you some tosai ready for koishow in Europe. They are shipped next Tuesday so they can compete in German koishow Interkoi in Rheinberg. All tosai are for sale and prices are between 450 € and 750 €. Special showa, sanke and kohaku !

Also the SFF auction was attended by many customers. so prices went very high for jumbo tosai. We did not buy any jumbo tosai because prices were so high that we can buy a good high quality nissai in October for this price. And with the tosai you have the risk of the evolution up to nissai, and the risk of losing it in the mudpond in summer.

Today it is Valentine’s Day and this is the ideal day to show you this video that we received.
We were very happy to recieve from our customer in Cambodia Ratha this emotional selfmade video ! He wants to show us that our SFF nissai arrived save and well in his new homepond.
I think this is what koihobby and koilove is all about. Bringing koi to the world and enjoying the relaxation and love you get from those koi when you sit next to your pond at home.

After 11 days in Japan with our customers Jean and Heidi, and Petr Koblizek, a Czech dealer we are going home again. Petr entered a koi in a koishow for the first time and .... he got Sakura prize immediately ! This is the best time of my life ever he said !
Also our German customer Michael Grendel won Kokugyu Prize with his ginrin goshiki. Also he entered a koi in a Japanese show for the first time and immediately he got one of the best prize awards.
And of course our tancho showa won best tancho of the show over all sizes, 1st in her size and Tsubaki prize !
In total we and our customers won 4x First prize awards, 3x Second prize awards, 6x Third prize award and 4 big Prize awards Kokuguo, Sakura, Tsubaki and best in variety !

As we said yesterday, we went to SFF today. And I must we were all very happy with condition of our koi. Every koi we saw back from customers or koi not sold yet, was in splendid condition! Also this beautiful sanke from Jean Hoorne ! He was so happy with this gosai sanke that he gave her a name and called her Heidi II.
Also we saw the koi going to the koishow next weekend. Vertigo is in good condition. Her skinquality is much better than at Rinyukai koishow. So much improovment !
The skinquality of the beni and the shiroi, also on the headpart is fabulous ! This koi played 1st prize Hiroshima breeder show and also Kokugyu in 80bu ! We hope she wins something at All Japan show too ! She is still for sale and growing in SFF.

Yesterday we went with our customers to Omosako. We had to see our koi that are going to All Japan show. They were all in splendid condition and we hope to get some prize awards with these ones.

We are going to Japan end of this week. First we will visit some breeders in the South and we will end our trip in Tokyo for the All Japan show 2012.
On this trip we will start to look for some tosai and start preparing the shipment of some customerkoi.

Also he saved the best goshiki nissai for us. This maruten one has very good bodyshape and clean beni. This is a koi for the future, will become grey at sansai, darkgrey at yonsai age.

Saturday afternoon we arrived in Tokyo and we planned to go to the koishow but it was raining so hard you could not see any koi in the vats. So we waited to go on Sundaymorning when they promised sunshine.
Sunday morning we arrived at the showground in Hotel New otani and saw that the GC was a Maruyama kohaku from Narita koi farm’s customer. Runner up became a 94cm kohaku from SFF. We had 2 koi at the show and both koi played 1st prize in size so ware happy.
Tomorrow we are going to Minuma koi farm to see our goshiki’s.
The kohaku of Harry Van Der Hout played 1st Prize and has much more power for the near future.
This kohaku belongs now in the top 5 koi at SFF for candidate for GC in future koishow in 2013.

The new just purchased shiro utsuri at Omosako played her first show on our name and ... yes of course 1st prize !
The sumi of this shiro is so deep ! It will become much better in the coming months so we hope on the same prize in 65bu on All Japan show 2012 and maybe more .......

Friday we arrived from Tokyo to Nagaoka to visit some koifarm here. We only have 1 day to visit Isa, Nogami, Dainichi, Hiroi, Oomo, Marushu and Kaneko. So no time to waste.
We bought some very good quality/price ginrin and doitsu nissai at Hiroi today. Pics are coming on the website in the next days.
Also we are very happy with the evolution of the Isa sansai here on pic. The Nogami yonsai made also a very good evolution.
Tomorrow we go back to Tokyo for the Rinyukai koishow where some koi compete in show.
Today we fly back to Japan for 1 week. Friday we visit Niigata, in the weekend we visit the Rinyukai koishow in Tokyo together with our Czech dealer Petr Koblizek. He is coming to see his koi 50bu male play in the show.
And on Monday we visit Minuma koi farm to see the evolution of all our koi there.

Tuesday today and our last day in Japan. We have chosen to see the harvest of the big inside concrete pond at Momotaro because there were some of us there too. So we saw all koi come out and took pics and video of the koi. We are sorry but for the moment we cannot show any video because the laptop has problems with the High Definition video’s. So the video of all koi and last days will come on the website later this week.
We decided to go home tomorrow and come back on 17 November. Then we first go to Niigata to see our customerkoi there. After that we are visiting the Rinyukai show to see Vertigo play and on Monday 21 November we go to Minuma koi farm to see all koi there. We go back to Belgium then on 22 November to arrange everything for our opendoor weekend.
So a very tight schedule !
Today we went back to SFF to take more pics and video.
We also ordered a new stock of oyagoimagazine and also the SFF calendars are arriving. In the middle of January there is a new medium pellet SFF food sinking and floating will be shipped.
We arranged the shippinglist for SFF, Omosako, Kondo, and Narita koi farm and the new koi will arrive on 11 November in our shop.
We have are first extravaganza weekend on 26-27 November. Hope to see many of you then.
Today we did some new purchases at Narita koi farm. We bought some male gosanke for koishow, doitsu ochiba, ginrin kujaku, kikusui, doitsu sanke, ... also we were excited to see the evolution of the koi we bought last year. We give you an impression of the koi we bought and still for sale.
Also we started to put all customerkoi under koihunting, first pics and later also video. We have some problems with uploading and making the video’s, laptop gets lazy, no space enough on harddisk, so excuse us if it takes longer than planned and if the emails are later answered. We only have one internetconnection in our hotelroom, so it is either email or website uploaden. We hope we have everything on the web tomorrow evening.
Tomorrow we go back to SFF and Tuesday we are at Momotaro for the harvest of the big concrete pond.

Also Narita san is amazed but the good development of the shiroi and boyshape. This is one for 2012-2013.
On Friday morning Hiroshi harvested a nissai pond with very good nissai ! We were there together with 2-3 persons to select as first the best pieces ! And we did have the chance to buy this showa ! She is one of the two best pieces of this harvest and for Hiroshi the shiroi is so good ! This is one to let grow on in Japan and she is now 58cm! She is a daughter of Shigetu dai Junior and a male showa who played male champion on All Japan show 2011! So showquality is certainly present here.

From Dainichi we went to Kondo koi farm to see what has happened with the jumbo tosai. And the result is very good this year ! Jan, Taufik and Micha, your koi made excellent evolution !
We could also make a new purchase ! This wonderfull showa nissai 58cm long, coming to our shop next week. Really a very good pattern and skinquality !
Tomorrow we will start to put all customerkoi under koihunting with pic and video. Tomorrow we go to Narita koi farm to see our koi. On Monday we go back all the way to SFF.

On Thursday 3 November we visited Hiroshima Nogosai.
And we were proud to see 2 of our just purchased koi to win a prize. A sanke and kohaku.
This yondan kohaku of SFF played best in size 80bu over all varieties. We intend to set her on Rinyukai koishow in 2 weeks time too. Very young skinquality and good bodyshape. This kohaku is still for sale.

Just arrived on the koishow in Kure today, we saw Takahiro Omosako coming to us to say that they harvested the best sansai ! Please come and see ? So we went with him to his farm to see this stunning shiro utsuri.
And yes this shiro is 64cm, ready for Rinyukai koishow and all japan show, the shiroi and the sumi are Japanese showquality worthy !

Today we saw another customerkoi coming in, 70cm long and deep red ! A wonderful evolution !
Today our customers wanted to see a harvest at SFF. So we went to see a nissai showa harvest. Also Felix Denanta, to who we sold our Nogami kohaku Pandora was a helping hand in the harvest. It is always nice to experience the feeling of harvesting and seeing the koi come in.

This tancho showa is from Omosako.
Today we went back to Momotaro to take video of our auction koi of last Friday. This very good ShiroII Mako bloodline showa is now on video here. The quality of the sumi and shiroi is stunning! Also the total body is so strong and good build. A future candidate for koishow in Japan.
She is from the same bloodline like the maruten showa 76cm and even bigger as nissai now so we expect he same growth and more at 3 years old (+/-76-78cm)
This is another koi we bought at the auction last Friday. She is coming to our shop next month.
In the afternoon we went back to Omosako and our good friend Takahiro. He said us he saved some very good koi for koishow.
And yes we have played already Young champion on Wakagoi show with his shiro, and 2 times Kokugyo so we believe him when he says he has a showquality winner !
This nissai is 48 cm and her sumi is exceptional good! She is going to All Japan show 2012 in 50bu and has a big chance to win and more.

Today we went to the Momotaro auction. We were intrested in the best showa nissai ! And we could achieve to buy her !
We will go back to Momotaro on Sunday to take pics and video of her. Maeda san said this was the best showa on auction, 63cm long, big shoulders, good bodyshape and deep sumi with nice headpattern.
Later this afternoon we went to taniguchi to see our jumbo tategoi we bought on narita breeders auction, but this one was already shipped to Nagoya, so we will see this one next Friday.
I must say the showa bought today is very good for future koishow in Japan and will grown on in Momotaro koi farm.
Tomorrow we go back to SFF to see more harvested customerkoi. But it will be very crowdy ! Many customers are there now. Tomorrow evening our customers are arriving in Hiroshima for one week.

Today we looked for our nissai for the shop. As last year we want very high quality and also we want most of them to be over 58cm long in size. Today we could manage to buy 6 pieces in new greenhouse from the tategoiponds. The biggest one is 65cm long !
It is very difficult this year because there are not much nissai for sale. Yesterday we asked how many nissai will still come out of mudponds in the first 1,5 week and the answer was 200 pieces. So .... not many ... this year.
When we heard this we started again selecting in later afternoon and we had a selection of 20 pcs kohaku, tancho, gin showa and showa. Tomorrow we ask price of all our purchases and we will be able to answer all email of our customers for pricedemands of koi. This koi will come on our website with pic and video tomorrow and day after.
The quality of the best nissai we bought this year is even higher than the best ones we sold of last year in the shop !

Today was our first day in Japan. We could achieve to buy some good nissai showa and kohaku at SFF farm. We are staying almost 2 weeks here and are visiting different koifarms in the South of Japan.
Also we saw all koi going to ZNA, Rinyukai and All Japan show in the coming months. We were very proud to see our Tomahawk yondan kohaku swimming in the new new greenhouse at SFF. This is the last new greenhouse just brought in use a week ago. You see a pic of the greenhouse here. She is in excellent condition and skinquality is very good. Have a look at the video !

We could purchase some very good sansai and showkoi at the SFF auction. We show you the pics here and today we will take pics and video offf all the koi. Also we will have look at some customerskoi who stayed in concrete pond inside this summer, and maybe we can take pics and video too of this koi.
Tuesday 4 October is our first day in Japan and this morning we have visited Omosako koi farm.
We bought 2 very good female shiro’s and 4 good bodied male shiro’s. Also we had the chance to buy a tancho showa nissai ! Identically the same as we bought 2 years ago as gosai ! the tancho showa is so good ! big body, nice big tancho spot and she can stay at omosako koi farm to grow on if the customer wants it.
Later on this week we will put all koi for sale on nissai for sale. This afternoon we went to the SFF open sale and there we managed to buy 4 good benigoi and 2 karashigoi nissai. We stayed off from the nissai this moment because most of the nissai are too small. (only 48 to 55cm)
We will select our nissai gosanke as usual on our trip to SFF in beginning of november, then we hope that the size will be around 58-62cm again like last year.
Also today we saw the Matsue kohaku, 6 years old and 87cm today! Deep red, hugh body, charming face, ...
We discussed the koi with Ryuki and he expects her to go over 90cm in the first year. So 90bu+ makes a chance for major prize award in any koishow in Japan like Rinyukai show or All Japan or ZNA show. This koi is still available for any serious hobbyist who wants to play on major koishow in Japan and make a chance to win Grand Champion !

Today, we had the chance at Narita koi farm to see some koi just before they go the mudpond next week.
Yes Bernd ! We had the chance to make a new video of her ! We called her Moloko because she is so snowwhite !!! She is really a dream, remembering us to our big Pandora Nogami kohaku You see her together with +/-10 koi all going in the same mudpond next week ! +/-10 koi in a mudpond of 100.000 square metres! She will have space to grow. Now she didn’t get any food for the last 3 months.

After all the stress, work and show we have time again to put your attention to some exceptional koi.
This inazuma 21 months old kohaku of the Tomahawk SFF bloodline is very special. Only 21 months and already 61cm long! This is now our best kohaku still for sale at SFF that we offer to our customers.
The koi has a very good body with a strong tailpart and shoulderpart. The beniquality is good and equal over the whole body. The breastfins are big what suits the long size and big body of the koi. This koi will according to Kentaro make the same evolution as the Tomahawk yondan kohaku now 84cm at almost 5 years old.
We strongly recommend this kohaku as one of our best koi !
This showa was harvested in december last year, so we could not make new pics of her last year. Now we see her back after 1 year, and this koi has a very strong bodyshape and headpart. She will grow certainly very big and this is one of the best koi we saw. She owns everything to grow to 90cm!
The sumi on the body will come out because there is motoguro in both fins and also some part of sumi on the body are already there. That assures that the sumi will come out.

"PANDORA" THE GRAND CHAMPION 2010 !!!
All week long we were dreaming of this title but we could not believe it was really going to happen!
We saw the koi one week ago, and were very impressed of her beauty, body and shiroi. We were not sure placing her on the Rinyukai show yes or no and maybe better to wait until All Japan koishow in January.
But they convinced us to do so because we knew Pandora was very good.
So we stayed unexpectedly one week longer in Japan until 14/11/2010.
And the dream became reality, Pandora won !!!

This morning at 9.30h we were present with our customers in the Ryutsu center to see the judging for GC. We, the staff of narita koi farm and Kentaro Sakai were there, waiting after the glass doors for the result. We told everybody that there were 6 koi who were in competition for GC, others told there were +/-10 contenders.
But out of the first voting round only 2 koi came up to go further to the second round. We were very stressed and thought we were out of the game but ... they went to vat number 14 and to vat 57 !! our vat ! So yes we were in the second voting round with 19 votes against M Rose who had 30 ! This was very stressy for us but also for Kentaro Sakai.
As you can see on video 1 here, the koi are picked up and put in two vats next to each other. Then the judges select again. And in the second round M Rose won with 53 votes and Pandora had 30 ! So we became second and here this prize calls Tiger champion. We are very happy with this prize and we were hoping on this prize after yesterday seeing the good condition of M Rose.
This experience was very exciting for us ! And now we know how it feels to be so close to the title of GC on the biggest koishow in the world ! We still have a goal for the future.
We are flying back home today but want to show you some pics of the weekend. We have been so busy with our customers here in Tokyo so we did not have a lot of time to sit after the computer. And of course we had to party in Roppongi !
Later this week we will put some pics on and also some video.
First you see the prizeceremony on Sunday, then you you some pics of the party on Saturday evening, and then we show some certificats of our winning fish. We and our customers have Jumbo Champion, this is second best koi of the koishow, then 3 First prizes, 2 Second prizes and 10 Third prizes.
The quality of the koi this year was in generally very high in all sizes. So it is a great honour to win a prize here.

Pandora, the Nogami kohaku that won Grand Champion at Kuala Lumpur at the Asian Cup was in splendid condition and a true winner !
Monday we visited Mr Felix Denanta new koiponds. He is the customer who bought Pandora from us. He is constructing 12 new koiponds in the centre of Jakarta. This is just the start of the constructing you see on the pics, but in one month time it will be a complete different view. It will be like a Koigreenhouse with Koilounge to invite other koikichi.
We think this is really a very good idea to build this professional installation for keeping high class koi like Pandora.

This year we went to the Interkoi with no gosanke bigger than 70cm ! So no we did not go for the GC and SC awards ! All our bigger koi are sold, Pandora is sold to Mr Felix Denanta in Indonesie to play for GC at the Asian Cup in Kuala Lumpur, our best SFF kohaku’s are prepared for the Rinyukai and other shows in Japan.
So we only had to proove that our 18-70cm koi where worthy to win. And we did proove with 15 First Prize Awards and 9 Second Prize Awards, 3 Best in Variety Awards and yes one special Prize for my favorite ochiba ! I am happy too with this prize !
For me she is very Unique and for the moment very difficult to find at SFF.

Today we were invited on a special event : the Momotaro nissai open sales event. There were many big ponds with very good quality nissai female for sale ! And we could pick any koi and so much koi as wanted !
Maeda san did this for the opening of his new greenhouse. It was really a unique event where we and our dealers could buy very good koi at good prices !
We must mention that we went always for sanke and showa to Momotaro but this time we were surprised of the high quality of the kohaku’s. So we could not resist to pick the best ones out of the ponds.

Today we visited the Momotaro auction for tosai and nissai.
For tosai we are coming back to the May auction because then the best jumbo tosai female are auctioned. Now the most of the tosai were between 25-30cm so not so big.
We bought today 3 good nissai showa for very good price, female and size between 52 and 65 cm ! All these koi are coming to the shop next week.

We are just back from the koishow and want to show you some video’s of the entry of the koi. On the first video you see Pandora going in the vat. On the pics you see the trucks arriving and Ryuki and Kentaro discussing the fishes for grand champion. Now the skin has to become white of all the koi, tomorrow the one that will have the most white skin will win I guess.
Today it was auction on Momotaro koi farm. There were not so many dealers. So many koi went away for very reasonable prices. Everybody had the chance to buy what he wanted.
We were looking for sanke number 2 because she is ready for All Japan young koishow in April. And also for a kindai showa with snowwhite skin. We could achieve to buy bought.

Yesterday it was a special day. We were all day at Narita koi farm where many of our koi stay.
We have taken some new films of our koi here and of course we had a long stay at the pond of Pandora.
This is Ryuki’s champion pond! We have taken a film of these koi. We became very quiet looking at all these magnificent jumbo’s. You can see our Pandora swimming gracious between the other ones as one of the biggest koi! Even now we cannot believe how she has become better in body in just 2 months time! Last time it was on the Rinyukai show when we saw her. Unbelievable!
In the same pond we saw 2 other good koi that are going to All Japan show next week. Competition for our Pandora ! A Muto kohaku also 90bu+ and a SFF sanke 90bu+. Both good koi, but the body of the sanke SFF is much better than the Muto. The SFF Sanke is big competition.
Next to these 3 koi including Pandora, there a 3 other koi that are going to take part at the competition for GC next week. Namely the SFF sanke that became second after Pandora on Rinyukai koishow and that is staying at Migita koifarm. And then 2 SFF kohaku staying in the SFF farm. One is the famous Rinyukai GC of 2009, same show where our Pandora played GC. And then another kohaku 90bu+. Kentaro says that the M Rose kohaku is in very good condition.
So the candidates for GC are for the moment 4 kohaku’s and 2 sanke. But maybe an unknown competion will still come up ?
We can say that the tension and stress is coming up in us being in the 6 candidates for GC. Still one week to go !

Today we visited Kondo san. He was just sexing his first jumbo tosai pond. We had the chance to select as first some female jumbo tosai.
All tosai are female and 35 to 39 cm long. This Kondo koi are for example 70cm long at sansai age. We have a very good experience with Kondo jumbo tosai. So we bought again some pieces.
This jumbo tosai was the best showa of the pond that was sexed today. Our thoughts when we bought this koi went back to Black Devil. This is a wonderful showa for someone who likes a lot of sumi and deep beni. All tosai stay 1 year in Kondo mudpond.

When the sumi comes out on this showa, it will be very nice because of the maruten spot and the beni on the lips. Also this koi has motugoru in both fins who has to come as the sumi on the body. Sumi will certainly come up.
This showa has a very good future. When the menware comes out, it will be like spiderweb on the head. The showa has motuguro in both fins so sumi will certainly come up according Kondo San. Also this koi can stay 1 year in the mudond of Kondo.
A good koi for the future, and you get a nissai for your money.
This jumbo tosai kohaku has a very good skinquality ! Maybe the pattern is not everybody’s favorite but the skinquality is amazing. Also bodyshape for a tosai is already there. We are very curious how this tosai is going to develop in the next year in mudpond.
A koi without any risk because the koi is already very good now and female of course !
Yesterday we spent a day sightseeing in the Hakone area.
We have driven to Lake Ashi and Mount Fuji. The mount is really impressive ! We walked in the beautifull nature of Hakone and Odawara seaside. Have a look at some photographs :
Today we travelled with the car from Nagaoka to Odawara.
What a difference from - 4 °C in Nagaoka to +13 °C in Odawara, the other side of the land.
We stay here 1 day. Tomorrow we visit the Ashi Lake in Hakone and maybe also the
mount Fuji.
Yesterday we went to see our koi at Oomo and Marushu.
we have there 2 sanke swimming of which one is going to all japan young koishow in 63bu.
Tanaka san told us that this sanke was the best sanke of the Queen oyagoi harvest 2010. She must gain a little bit of body and then she can go the show.

Today we have driven to the seaside of Teradomari to go and see the ginrin kohaku’s of Hoshino Kiichi.
And we were very impressed !

She was normally going to Nogosai Niigata but now that we bought her, the breeder was too scared to have damage.
So she is going for All Japan koishow in 2011 now!

She was 89cm in January 2010 on the All japan koishow.
Now she is almost 92cm !!! and only 8 years old !
We hope she will reach 95cm in beginning of 2011 !
She is so much better than last year !

Dream Fujiko beated Diablo in Arcen !!
Last weekend at Holland koi show Dream fujiko, Mr M ’s kohaku, won from Diablo, Mr M ’s sanke.
There were 4 candidates for the GC and SC, 2 sanke and 2 kohaku.
But already in the first round our kohaku won the grand champion title with 7 yes votes on 11 votes in total.
In the second round Diablo won from 2 other jumbo koi the title of supreme champion with 9 yes votes on 11 votes in total !!!
There was even no discussion !
Again Mr M : congratulations ! ! !
So no discussion they were the best koi on the show.
And last but not least !
Diablo sanke SFF 11 years old won Grand champion and Dream Fujiko, a kohaku that was a SFF oyagoi in the past, won supreme champion.
For the first time they played against each other and Diablo won !
Her body is still a bit stronger than Fujiko’s.

On 25-26 April we took part at the first koishow in Europe this year.
And it was a big succes !

The dream team did again in 2009 !!!
At the Interkoi 2009 in Rheinberg Germany, our customers won again.
They began 2009 with the same result as in the last show in 2008 !
Mr M. became grand champion with his Diablo snake ! Many people told us that she was in better condition than last year. So we are glad they say that because we keep an eye on her day an night.
Mr Jean Hoorne became supreme champion with his Klaverbad kohaku.
He was very happy !
